2010-12-23 [Yami]: I apologize, it's not the gifts that bother me, it's the fact that if I get no gift from someone I don't get to see them when they give it to me, not to mention I think of so many people when it comes to the holiday season and I try to get everyone a little something, just so they know I was thinking of them. So when I don't get anything from some I got something for it makes me feel like they weren't thinking of me...I guess it still sounds materialistic but even a scribbled in crayon card makes me feel like the person cared enough to at least find a crayon and a peice of paper and took five seconds to scribble a little "Merry christmas" or whatever, I could care less of the cost, but seeing the person and just knowing that they thought of me even for one second makes me feel loved and I've lost that through the years. I'm not cute and adorable anymore so my family just parted ways with me...I dunno...but hey, Moira, I'm trying to pinch my pennies to get a bjd I really like, he's 199.00 if I get him and after I clothe him, if I pay for shipping to and from, could I send him to you to take at least one picture with your Aodh bjd?

If I can get him before the bid ends he's a 45cm I believe, if not I'll have to save more to get the 70cm I want, I'm embarassed to say it's the same one you have Moira but I don't like any of the other males enough on the site. I checked other sites and they're either too pricey or don't look right.

I have a slight obsession with them, but I have never been able to own anything legitimate. I have a 27cm dollfie, and I painted his face, but it looks pretty amateur. I think I would be able to do much better on something like a 70cm, but I can't afford one of that size at the moment. :(

2010-12-31 [haldirrox]: Yeah, well, he thinks he's a big disappointment to his father, because while he was in Phoenix, his family never went to see him (we're in California); he always came here to see everyone. I tried to get out there, but he couldn't afford to bring my son and I out, plus his fiance threw a shit fit, so I didn't get to see him before he shipped out, and he hasn't gotten to see his godson since he was 3 months old, because of that...person.
I'm actually writing him a letter right now.

I held him while he cried, proof-read his letter to his now-fiance, when he first asked her out, even though it broke my heart to do it. I've always been honest with him, and have never felt the need to hide anything from him. He's the first person I call when I have a problem, and the last person I talk to before I go to sleep. We've known each other since our Freshman year in high school, and yet somehow, we still have things to talk about. We've literally shared everything. My mother sees him as family, and her dearest wish is that we will get married some day. He just deserves so much more than what he's been given; he always says he's not right for me, but that's bullshit. He's the only person in the world who's ever been completely honest with me, and has never judged me, no matter what. If I do something he disagrees with, he tells me, but without judgment. Do you know how rare people like him are? I feel blessed just to know him, and I just want him to be happy in life and in relationships, whether he chooses to be with me or not. I just want him to have everything he deserves in life.
